Utilising yoga asana, pranayama and yogic mediative techniques, you will be guided in conditioning both body and mind to harmonise with nature's cycles. Each class is uniquely sequenced considering the phases of the moon and Ayurvedic and Chinese Herbal Medicine's five elemental theories. This practice will bring you into alignment with nature rather than pushing yourself to work against it. Winter Warming Seasonal Yoga Balance classes work to: ~ Connect you back into your natural flow state; ~ Build stamina, strength and mindful focus; ~ Increase agility, flexibility and balance; ~ Gently build mobility and core support around your spine; ~ Support your immune system and detoxify lymphatic stagnation; ~ Regulate and calm your nervous system; ~ Harmonise the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Winter element, organs and emotions; ~ Warm your body from the inside out; ~ Slow ageing by preserving the Jing energy stored in your Kidneys; ~ Bring greater awareness to your body-mind connection; ~ Prevent illness by releasing emotions held within your bodies facia memory and organs; ~ Honour you as part of the interconnectedness of all; Harmonise with the ever changing seasons and celestial movements your body and mind are intrinsically connected within. ~ Suitable for beginners to advanced Yogis, 13+ ~ Wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing. ~ Avoid eating a heavy meal before hand. ~ Waiver to be signed prior to your first class. ~ Mats, props and blocks are available for use.
